The Crying Spirit of Amber Beacon Tower is a Singaporean Urban Legend about a female restless spirit waiting for justice in Singapore. The spirit was once a young woman named Kelly who walked at East Coast Park with her boyfriend James at night in 1990. Kelly and James sat down on the stairs of the Amber Beacon Tower when suddenly two masked men armed with knives appeared and started stabbing them. James managed to throw the first attacker off the railing and Kelly tried to run downstairs to call for help but the second attacker managed to catch up on her and stabbed her at the neck. The two attackers ran into the darkness never to be seen again. James went to a nearby restaurant for help but he collapsed on the ground when he arrived at the restaurant. James was taken to the hospital and he survived but Kelly tragically died from her wounds. James was only able to give a bit of information to the police about the two masked men. There were no suspects and the police were unable to solve the case. After the incident, people reportedly began hearing Kelly's spirit crying at the Amber Beacon Tower and sometimes see bloodstains dripping at the tower as well as seeing Kelly's spirit roaming the area near the tower at night. It is believed that Kelly's spirit haunts the place until the two masked men are caught.

The snake's curse is a Nepalese urban legend that says if anyone lays down backwards fully while eating rice or noodles can turn into a snake the next day.

I'm trying to do research for a theory I have on a piece of media, and it focuses on a doll that traps two friends who are arguing in a time loop. I think this might be an urban legend, but I don't know for sure, and I don't know where to look. Does anyone have any information?
There are some shows that they show on Nickelodeon in the morning on weekdays. Some of them are like Max And Ruby, Wallykazam, etc. But one my little brother liked was a show called Paw Patrol. One night I was up so late watching NickAtNight and I didn’t keep track of time. There was a bumper saying that a new episode of Paw Patrol was about to come on. How in fricks heck is there going to be a new episode of that show at 2:00 in the morning!? Knowing I wasn’t gonna do anything else, I decided to watch it, spoiling it for my little brother in the morning. The intro came on and It was different than I recall. The intro theme was backwards but the singing was normal. The title card came on and it wasn’t the normal title card, it was pitch black with white lettering saying, “Ryder’s” I recall that there was another word in there but it looked smeared. The episode began with the pups all depressed. They went to the place where they get their orders from Ryder, the owner of the so called “Paw Patrol”. Ryder wasn’t there either. They were dressed in fancy black suits and dresses. They got in their vehicles and drove off. Next it cut to a scene where they were at “Adventure Bay Cemetery” We were at Ryder’s funeral. After the funeral was over the pups had to go to a foster house. Sky and Zuma killed themselves on the way there. Then pitch black it was over. But then it cut to a scene where all the pups were dead on Nooses. They came alive and said “Life is death and death is life, we will all cherish life, no matter what’s the cost.” Then the next thing that was coming on was How I Met Your Mother. A few days later I was on my way to my house from work and police and FBI special forces were there. I asked them what was going on. They said that my little brother was missing since this morning and that I saw an episode of a show that was not supposed to come on. I told them about the episode. I also asked them why the episode came on and how it came on. They said that there was a group of hackers called “HighMoon”, a barely known group and only had like 20 or 30 hackers in there. They were demanding money and threatened to air a banned secret episode. 2 days later my little brother was back and safe. But I will never forget those words“Life is death and death is life, we will all cherish life, no matter what the cost.
I'm a new person to the Urban Legend Wiki.
Now, I'll ask a question.
Can I make my own articles?
Cause I can help ya expand the Wiki! Well... a little bit... i guess
I will put a notice on my articles saying that it was made by me, and including when it was made.
I've been wondering: Can I put down links on my articles?
Thanks! c:
Does anybody here know any good books/ websites on demonology or paranormal?
I had to write a thing on urban legends and my group chose the Bunny Man. I wrote this so feel free to read cuz I want more than my class to see.
The urban legend of The Bunny Man originated in Fairfax County, Virginia in 1970, when two incidents occurred involving a man wearing a bunny costume who attacked people with an axe or hatchet. The first incident occurred on the evening of October 19th, 1970 and was reported by U.S. Air Force Academy Cadet Robert Bennett and his fiancée. The couple had reported that they had parked their car in a field on Guinea Road, when they noticed a figure moving in the rear-view mirror. Seconds later, the figure smashed the passenger window. Bennett immediately turned the car around and drove away while the figure screamed at them: “You're on private property, and I have your tag number.” As they drove away, they came to discover a hatchet on the floor of their car. When Bennett came into the station to file the report, the police officers asked him to describe the man. Bennett said he was wearing a white suit with long bunny ears. Bennett's fiancée insisted the man did not have bunny ears on his head but was wearing a white capirote of some sort. They both remembered seeing his face, but in the darkness, they could not determine his race. This was the first sighting of the Bunny Man. The second sighting of the Bunny Man was only 10 days later, when construction security guard Paul Phillips approached a man standing on the porch of an unfinished home, in Kings Park West on Guinea Road. Phillips reported that the man was wearing a gray, black, and white bunny costume, and was about 20 years old, and was about 5 feet 8 inches. The man began chopping at a porch post with a long-handled axe, saying: "You are trespassing. If you come any closer, I'll chop off your head."
