Carmen Winstead is the villainous main protagonist of the creepypasta “Carmen Winstead: They Pushed Her”.
Story[]
Carmen Winstead began her high school experience as an ordinary 17-year-old outsider. Her father lost his job, leading them to relocate to Indiana for his new employment. This move made it challenging for Carmen to leave her old friends behind and make new ones due to her fear of criticism.
In the first two semesters at her new school, Carmen faced difficulties until she started hanging out with a group of five girls. However, she soon discovered that these girls were spreading false rumors about her, damaging her reputation. The rumors included allegations such as having an affair with the school janitor and wiping snot on people when they weren’t looking.
Despite confronting those responsible for spreading lies about her, the bullying intensified. The girls resorted to name-calling, vandalizing Carmen’s belongings, and making false accusations about her in public. Eventually, Carmen decided to stay after school one day to address the bullying with teachers.
During a fire drill at school, the five girls saw Carmen near a sewer opening and decided to push her down as a cruel joke. Carmen fell into the sewer, resulting in severe injuries including a broken neck and facial disfigurement. The police were called, and Carmen’s parents were devastated by the gruesome scene.
The students involved denied their actions, claiming Carmen fell accidentally. Subsequently, the case was closed as an accident. Mysterious posts later appeared on social media suggesting foul play in Carmen’s death. Those responsible faced supernatural consequences if they did not spread chain mail messages warning others about Carmen’s ghostly vengeance.
In summary, Carmen Winstead is an urban legend character created by Jessica Halonen in 2005 and not based on a real person. The story revolves around bullying, tragic events leading to Carmen’s death, and supernatural occurrences linked to her vengeful spirit.
